      Heat

      • PromotionsIn weeks more than 2°C above normal, the median sales uplift is +93% against +80% otherwise. The promotion looks better than it is.
      • DeliveriesIn hot summer weeks complete deliveries arrive late 11.5% of the time, against 1.5% otherwise.
      • WasteCold-chain and return costs double, but they are only 5% of waste. Not the priority.

      • DeliveriesThe forecast for the plant-based Wild Oat brand is 23% too low because it does not keep up with the brand's growth. Its fill rate is only 84.9%.
      • ForecastThe new forecast cuts the error from 16.2% to 9.3% WAPE. It estimates Wild Oat's growth from the data and knows the listing calendar, so the end of the season no longer ends in a write-off.
      • WasteIn late September the forecasts for three seasonal SKUs are about 14 times the orders. In January it is written off: 789 k zł.

      The stick line in Ełk

      • DeliveriesIn summer 2025 the line could not keep up. A third shift from April 2026 lifted in-season fill rate for its products from 91.5% to 100%.
      • WasteA changeover on this line costs 162 kg of ice cream today. In the best flavour order: 44 kg.
